You will set off with on a 120 mile (200km) excursion around this beautiful island. The tour is fully narrated by your English- speaking driver/guide. Enjoy a scenic drive along the slopes of the famous Diamond Head crater,so called because of calcite crystals in the rock that glitter like diamonds, also Enjoy the views at this National Monument from Amelia Earheart Lookout. Enjoy the panoramic view from Amelia Earheart Lookout on the slopes of Diamond Head .
You will pass through the prestigious Kahala residential area with its grand homes, and on to Hanauma Bay. Look out over the crescent of the bay and see the reef beneath the turquoise waters. (Hanauma is closed Tuesdays.)
Another spectacular sight awaits at the Halona Blowhole. Lava tubes from ancient volcanic eruptions extend to the ocean and, when the surf is right, the blowhole shoots water up to 30 feet in the air. The larger the waves, the higher the spray.
See the legendary body surfing spots at Sandy Beach, where the young Barack Obama used to hang out with friends, and Makapu’u Lighthouse Point, commanding a splendid view of the Windward side of Oahu.
Keep the camera ready for the scenic vistas at Nu'uanu Pali Lookout. The panoramas from this 985-foot cliff will blow you away.
A surprise awaits at the foot of the 2,000 foot Ko'olau Mountains. Here, you find the beautiful Byodo-In Temple, a replica of a 950-year-old temple in Japan. Your tour includes admission to this tranquil place.
You will stop at the Kualoa Ranch, a sacred place in ancient times. You will be treated to the Kualoa Ranch Legends and Legacy tour, which reveals fact and fable about this beautiful area on a fun 30-minute tram ride.
There will be a 1-hour stop for lunch, probably at Kualoa or Windward Oahu. Lunch is not included in the tour. The cost of lunch depends whether you want a full meal or a snack.
You will see the monster waves at the world-famous North Shore surfing beaches of Sunset, Banzai Pipeline and Waimea Bay.
The tour makes a 30-minute stop at Dole Plantation, where you will hear the inspiring story of the entrepreneur who founded Hawaii's successful pineapple industry. Stroll through the Plantation gardens and see more than 120 varieties of pineapple, or wander in the world's largest maze, made entirely from Hawaiian plants.
Your day-long tour ends about 5:45pm and you will be dropped off back at your Waikiki hotel.
